Use your website to communicate your value proposition and your general marketing
messages (known as “high-level messages”). If there is one page which should be optimized for generic
keywords, it is your homepage. With the increase in powers of content, the journey for internet marketing people has taken a knifelike turn. Not so long ago it might be comparatively easy for a marketer to secure his business in top search engine results. In the search marketing field, the pages the engines return to fulfill a query are referred to as search engine results pages (SERPs). Prioritise content marketing. That's publishing valuable content on your website. These can be articles, blogs, white papers, videos, infographics or other interesting information that can be shared with your network via an e-newsletter or social media. Doing this will create backlinks naturally.
Try optimizing your TF-IDF scores
You need images not only to improve a user’s experience on your website but also because they have a positive impact on your SEO. It’s not enough to simply have images on a website, though. To help with your Google search ranking, come up with creative file names and alt tags which describe what the image is. While Google is
the big dog when it comes to search engines, don’t forget about Bing. It does hold a considerable share of the search market. While focusing on user experience as we’ve advocated will work for Bing as well, you should do technical audits of your site for both search engines, to make sure you have not missed any important element. So content marketing is one of the 3 main pieces to SEO, but has been around for longer than SEO because of things like Michelin Stars and Guiness Book of World Records, which were essentially ingenious examples of content marketing for the tire company and the beer company respectively. If you want to earn high rankings in Google search results, you first need to understand how Google ranks its search results.
Understanding the rationale behind link intersects
Guest Blogging simply means writing an article for another site. By doing this, not only will you be directing that site’s audience straight to your content, but you will also be generating an incredibly useful backlink. This is also a great way to increase your site’s reach and expand your audience, increasing your following and thus potential to build further backlinks and rank higher on Google. Learn which industry
ranking factors are important to your business and how to improve your online rankings. SEO has tremendously grown over the past few years and search engines are getting smarter and smarter. Staying on top of the current updates and changes is thus crucial in deepening your knowledge of how to take advantage of it. Make sure that every page has one call-to-action, so the goal of the page is clear. If you add multiple buttons, you lose the focus of the page and your visitors won’t get where you want them to go.
Use your key phrases in as many URLs as possible
All sites have a home or "root" page, which is usually the most
frequented page on the site and the starting place of navigation for
many visitors. Unless your site has only a handful of pages, you
should think about how visitors will go from a general page
(your root page) to a page containing more specific content. In the modern search landscape, a multitude of disciplines feed into organic success. Everything from Social and UX, to PR and Content plays a part in a fully realized organic search strategy. If your meta description is a duplicate, the user experience in Google will be less. Although page titles might vary, all pages seem the same as all descriptions are equal. We asked an
SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "Search engines optimize their results pages — especially their mobile search results pages — to display businesses that are located near the searcher. This is a good thing for local businesses because local online searches lead to visitors and purchases."
Page load time
Your page title should be naturally descriptive and contain the right keywords. Most SEOs place this near the top in terms of ranking power. It's also important to ensure the title is catchy because this tag is what Google often shows in the search results. This means make it click-worthy! And the fact is all of your copy needs to be buttoned up. You need a lot of keywords that are worked in naturally without keyword stuffing. Build a list
of other niche blogs in your field. Start commenting on their blogs
with insightful comments, and then reach out to them and ask if you can write
one guest post for them. If they accept, write NEW content for their blog (don’t
just copy and paste something already existing on your blog). Remember to
include a couple links within your post linking back to your site, using anchor
text with your relevant keywords. Think long term rather than short term. Short term will get you nowhere with SEO. When building your content, it’s important to remember to give the
crawlers enough to bite into. A hundred words typically isn’t enough copy
for these crawlers to read and understand what the content is about. And
this content shouldn’t be stuffed with keywords either, as some search
engines (as you’ll learn in later sections) punish websites for keyword
stuffing.
